Ibiza Rocks Hotel, Ibiza, Venue Design & Renovation
Ibiza Rocks have always done things differently. Born from the legendary Manumission family, the club-hotel stands on the original Club Paraiso site in the heart of San Antonio and is renowned for its daytime pool parties with some of the world's biggest artists. This was a project that demanded a design approach worthy of that history.
The renovation covered the main arena, associated bars, hotel rooms, and the street-facing entrance, with a new graphic identity created by Big Active underpinning the entire aesthetic overhaul.
The main arena concept placed the artist at the centre of the space, with the DJ booth redesigned to give performers the ability to step into the crowd and connect directly with the audience. Craig David, who performed weekly at the venue during peak season, was directly involved in shaping the booth design around his TS5 residency. VIP seating areas and sightlines were also reworked around the pool to improve the experience for every guest, not just those at the front.
Out front, the entrance was redesigned from the ground up to create an instant social media moment for every arriving guest. The render and the finished result sit side by side above.
The hotel rooms were also transformed using custom artwork, bespoke bed linen, and a considered layout that gave guests something they would immediately recognise as distinctly Rocks.
